German artist, born 18 December 1962 in Eutin. He is married to Angela Richter. Since 2005 he owns Buback Tonträger GmbH. From 1991 to 1995 he studied art with Prof. Werner Büttner at "Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg". He worked as assistant to Albert Oehlen. Today Richter lives and works in Berlin, Hamburg und Vienna.
