Album UK 2011 on Runningonair Music label
Electronic and Classical (Drone, Experimental, Ambient)
Limited Edition of 100, hand-numbered. Tracks 2 and 6 are largely based on an aleatoric compositional process utilising the Fibonacci sequence. Single note recordings from multiple artists were produced, chosen from a selection of durations and notes and on an instrument of the artists choice. The sequence was then used to determine the placement of these recordings, the foundation for the tracks. Track 4 features words by Anne Hennies. These words and the lyrical content on the N.a.c.a.l. tracks are derived from a poem by P. Scanlan entitled 'Brittle Winds - At The Point Where Four Winds Meet'. "Now all colours are lost, winds' voices roll in our bodies, our ears." Comes in a recycled fold out card case and has a paper insert, the cdr is protected by a transparent plastic sleeve.
