Made to accompany a contemporary dance piece of the same name, the music attempts to maintain a walking pulse throughout, with tempo divisions and subdivisions as dynamics change. Atmospheric textures ranging from warm to brooding and rhythms slipping in and out, from bouncy to complex. A charming main theme used at the opening reappears in varied forms thoughout. An interesting record for listening or use in theatre/dance explorations, (I know a few dance teachers who use this music regularly for dance classes.) Featuring the chromatic harmonicas of Seamus Cater. brushes by Steve Noble and all other instruments by Daniel Weaver; including cellos, guitars, percusion, FX, programming, sampling, feedback and textures.
