Genre: Haitian, Jazz, Latin. Hometown: Cap Haitien Danielle Thermidor was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. She is the 4th child of nine. She started singing at a very young age. Her mother used to take her to the sea early in the morning to exercise her voice. She was about 14 years old when she first performed at College Notre Dame. At the age of 24 she went to Port au Prince where she made her first album called "Annie". After the publication of her first album she went back to her hometown and performed at the "Salle Paroissiale, one of the oldest and well known theaters in Cap-Haitien. While at Port au Prince, she participated in numerous shows including the international spectacular "La Maya". There she shared the stage with other well known artist like Ansy Derose. After her second album, "Danielle Thermidor chante l' amour", she performed multiple times at Rex Theatre, Kilimanjaro, in Europe........ For years Danielle Thermidor was a celebrated voice in Caribbean and African communities. Her voice commanded attention whenever she took the stage and she was received with endless applause. She left the scene to pursue her education in the United States, where she attended the schools of her dreams Columbia University and Katherine Gibbs. She married Guy R. Richard and had a beautiful daughter named Guylda. She settled down to raise her daughter and guide her through life. With her daughter leaving the nest she is now devoted to doing what she does best- singing and taking back the stage. With the help of her family, fans and her sis/manager, Yanick Thermidor, she just released her new album "I’m back Fanm Vanyan". Once again ready to share her talents with the world, you will rediscover her with pleasure. Danielle Thermidor, a true "Fanm Vanyan" - A determined lady who has decided to follow her mother's step and to better serve her public by earning a degree in Education in May of 2015.
