Former Dutch international football player, and manager, born 1 August 1961 in Oost-Souburg, Netherlands. As a player Danny Blind played for both Sparta Rotterdam and AFC Ajax. He also managde Ajax during the 2005/06 season. To date he is the only Dutch player to have ever won all international club competitions recognized by UEFA and FIFA. As a player Danny won the Dutch league title 5 times (1989/90, 1993/94, 1994/95, 1995/96, 1997/98), the Dutch Cup 4 times (1987, 1993, 1998, 1999), the Dutch Super Cup 3 times (1993, 1994, 1995), the UEFA Champions League (1995), the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (1987), the UEFA Cup (1992), the UEFA Super Cup (1995), and the Intercontinental Cup (1995) winning all his accolades as a defender for AFC Ajax. As a manager he won the Dutch Cup (2006) and the Dutch Super Cup (2005) with AFC Ajax as well.
