Singer / Musician / Producer of Jazz and Pop
A.k.a. George Nowlan
Producer, trumpet player, vocalist, bandleader and founder of the Nashville Brass (May 29, 1925 – June 12, 2008). During the 1940's & 1950's he worked mainly as a trumpeter and vocalist. In the late 1950's to the middle of the 1960's he worked as a producer for the MGM label. Then changed to RCA. Worked with artists like Nina Simone, Connie Francis, Herman's Hermits, Floyd Cramer, Dottie West and others. In the late 1960s he started "The Nashville Brass".
