Raving Loony's fourth release is from rad Porto export Dare2Disco, who's dark vision of a haunted nightclub will shake your bones, in a subsonic way. And with five massive remixes, this EP will do more than just raise the roof, it will raise the dead. You have been warned. The original sets the scene nicely, creeping you out with a otherworldly arp before smacking you in the skull with bassline and riff that will rock all the demons out of you. A true fist pumper. X-ettl's take on the track is a remix in the classic sense of the word, giving his own melodic touch to the original and turning the fury of the original into a simmering burn. Ludovic pulls the track apart and puts it back together with a broken groove that attacks from all angles. This is a sound menagerie that will get the breaks heads throwing spooky shapes. So Called Friend's remix lulls you into a false sense of security by chucking you into a spooky cartoon with a maniacal big-room twist. One for the weirdoes, this track is actually humourus. Chris Krawall brings things back to a more genuinely scary level, journeying even deeper but keeping it electronic. This is what happens when poltergeists get into your computer. Finally, Love The Cook throws the record into a big wok and fries up a half-tempo ghoul for the dubstep kids. If you like it crunchy, then this remix is the dish for you. Phew!
