Album UK 2016 on Static Caravan label
Folk (Folk)
Limited to 300 copies. CD notes I was recently asked to write a song about my favourite train, so I chose the Class 108 DMU. Thomas Nicholas, Ida Lattimer-Keller, Aphra and Skyler Villers provide the train noises. in 2010 I wrote an album about trains called 'The Permanent Way' but I ended up using that title elsewhere. In May 2016 I finished off six of them for this record. Steve McLean plays drums on Ravenscar and Backs of Houses. Jack Hayter plays the Black Sun on We Find Treasure and mandolin on Buffet Car Song. Michael Wood plays piano on Buffet Car Song and Harmonica on Ravenscar. James Jeffries recorded the 4F cab ride on the end of Treasure. La Maison Du Garde was recorded in Wreckless Eric's back garden in Cussac, France in 2010 by Ian Button. It references the disused line from Oradour Sur Veyres to Chalus. All songs written by Darren Hayman (copyright control 2016)
