Spätherbst 1979, eine Kleinstadt im Mecklenburgischen. Kalte Knochen, Rußluft, Poliklinikwetter. Husten. Hühnersuppe und Hustensaft. Fieber, Husten, Hustensaft. Husten, Hustensaft, Hustensaft. Ich wälz mich klebrig im Bett, da erscheint mir auf einmal John Lennon. Brillentyp, Amerika, nackte Frau. Gelbes U-Boot und Frieden. Usw. Er sitzt an einem weißen Flügel, über ihm ein voller Mond, unter ihm eine Wiese. John Lennon sieht blass aus und hat überall Haare. Mit roten Hinterglasaugen starrt er mich an. Dann drischt er auf die Tasten und spielt 'Imagine'. Immer wieder. Imagine. Imagine. Not the only one. Usw. Die Schritte im Treppenhaus gehören Siebenfinger Herter, dem alten Sprengmeister, der gerade von der Schicht kommt. Er geht vorbei. John Lennon brummt und knurrt weiter. Ich schalte mein tschechoslowakisches Tonbandgerät an und nehme ihn auf. Gutes Tesla, treuer Freund. John Lennon schreit 'Yoko' oder 'Ringo', ich kann es nicht richtig verstehen. Der Hustensaft ist alle. Eine Toncollage, gefertigt für die Ausstellung 'Sterne' in der Galerie 'Walden 3' in Berlin, November 2012. Für Yoko Ono. Not for sale.
