Dave Bass (born June 21, 1950) is an American jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and lyricist who has released two albums: Gone (2010) and NYC Sessions (2015). Due to a serious wrist injury in the mid-1980s, Bass left music and became an attorney; in January 2015, Bass retired from his position as a Deputy Attorney General for the California State Attorney General's office to devote himself full-time to music as he had done prior to his wrist injury.
