A.k.a. David Cambell
Dave Campbell is the father of Ian and Lorna Campbell. He appeared on a handful of early records of the UK folk scene and introduced his family to Scots traditional music. He is, in fact the first of four generations who have been recorded and published on record and CD. His son Ian Campbell, was the successful folk singer and songwriter who formed the Ian Campbell Folk Group, his grandsons formed the Birmingham Reggae band UB40 and his great-grand-daughter Kibibi Campbell sang with her father Ali Campbell on the CD single "Somethin' Stupid".
