Recorded and mixed between July and September, 2002, at Frank Booth, Brooklyn, NY. Tracks 7 and 12 recorded on September 9, 2002, at Avatar Studios, New York City. Mastered in October, 2002, at The Hit Factory Mastering, New York City. Design at SPENT Track 9 contains an excerpt from Upside Down: A Primer For The Looking-Glass World, written by Eduardo Galeano. Used with permission from Metropolitan Books (an imprint of Henry Holt). "November," "Traveler There is no Road," and "The Mystic Lamb" were originally commissioned by Vooruit Culture Center in Ghent, Belgium, and first performed by Ictus. They belong to a suite entitled "Flemish Primitives." "Porto Alegre" and "Wild Blue" were inspired by the writings of Eduardo Galeano and are part of a suite entitled "Turning The Tables."
