Born in 1964, David was the frontman of the legendary punk bank Reagan Youth, which he formed with bass player Paul Bakija, aka Paul Cripple, in 1980. They continued to tour and record until Ronald Reagan left office. He continued to make music, but not really successful. He dealt and took drugs and was beaten up badly in a drug deal gone bad. Only a month after his mother died in a freak car accident and his hooker girlfriend Tiffany B. fell victim to the long island serial killer Joel Rifkin, David Rubinstein committed suicide (1993).
