Album US on Walker Art Center label
Spoken Word and Soundtrack
This private press album features Flo Castner, a friend of Robert Zimmerman (Bob Dylan) at the time he was living in Minneapolis after leaving Northern Minnesota where he lived in Hibbing and spent much time in Duluth. Flo and Bob Dylan became friends while Bob was attending college in Minneapolis, Minnesota before he headed out to New York City. Flo Castner is the person who made history by introducing Bob Dylan to the music of Woody Guthrie, as explained in Bob's autobiography. Likely Bob was already a fan of Dylan Thomas at this time, but the fact that this play was written by Dylan Thomas may be seen as a sort of uncanny synchronicity. Front of sleeve reads: The Center Arts Council of Walker Arts Center presents Under Milk Wood Back and inside of gatefold sleeve are blank.
