From Austin, Texas, USA. From 1995 to 2003 live and study in Beijing, China and play the bass with the Brain Failure. One of the earliest supporters of the Chinese punk rock scene, entertainment column writer and designer for Beijing Scene, the first foreign entertainment newspaper in Beijing. Author of the book “Inseparable – the memoirs of an American and the story of Chinese punk rock”, a personal collection of stories, over one hundred previously unreleased photos and translated song lyrics from the earliest Chinese punk bands and the dizzying development of the scene.
