Jazz, Rock and Spoken Word (Abstract, Experimental, Avant-garde, Free Improvisation)
At the margins of the French lettriste movement, Altagor (pseudonym of Jean Vernier) formerly a mechanic and miner, then writer of thrillers, created 'Métapoésie' poetry composed of invented words, therefore abstract. Also an instrument builder, he accompanied his poetry readings on the pantophone, a stringed, bowed instrument. More than 40 years after, with the help of the galerist Alain Oudin, Colin Johnco and Frédéric D Oberland played this amazing instrument out of the limbo for two special performances, joined by Dave Olliffe and Seb El Zin on guitars. https://praisetoaltagor.bandcamp.com/
