Dave Riot
A.k.a. A. David Hellinga Demone
In his early career, David Hellinga produced drum n bass with the Mad Sample Squad and even before that he produced hip hop for the group 2damndope. Members of the Mad Sample Squad included Demone aka D. Hellinga, Nsayn aka D. vd Bijl and Damaze aka R. Rinzema. After the unfortunate loss of Damaze in a carcrash during 2002, David went on solo producing drum n bass as Demone. This also brought him into projects with Omar Santana & Dj Irie amongst others. In the same time he began producing other styles of dance music like breakbeats, clubtech and latin. After having released drum n bass tracks on Damazing Records, he changed his name to Dave Riot, asked J. Ruiz to join in the studio and together they made their first solo release to be released on Damazing Records soon.
