American tuba player and teacher, he emigrated to Munich, Germany in 1977. He is second principal tubist and tutti-contrabassist in the Basler Sinfonie-Orchester, plays for various other European orchestras, and has been teaching tuba and euphonium at the Conservatory of the Musik-Akademie in Basel since 1983.
