Soundtrack (Soundtrack)
No individual track timings. From the liner notes: "These 2 records consist almost entirely of original soundtrack recordings of motion picture music composed by David Raksin. As part of the book, "Wonderful Inventions," they illustrate two essays- "A Sound Idea: Music For The Animated Film" and "David Raksin: A Composer In Hollywood." The monophonic originals are glass base acetate transcription discs or acetate base magnetic tapes; every effort has been made to produce the best sound that can be obtained from them. The arrangement of the examples on the discs follows the order of their discussion in the essays." No timings for any of the tracks included.
