David Ari Leon is a multiple award winning and Emmy nominated American film score composer, music supervisor and musician. Leon was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Santa Barbara, California. He moved back to Los Angeles at the age of 17 to attend UCLA, where he studied film scoring and piano performance. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in music composition from UCLA in 1990, having completed internships with Oscar nominated composers Mark Isham and Danny Elfman. He has been composing, performing and supervising music for films, television, video games and CDs since graduating from UCLA in 1990.
