A.k.a. David Alan Gest
American entertainer, producer, and TV personality. Born: 11 May 1953 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Died: 12 April 2016 in London, England, UK (aged 62). Well known for marrying actress/singer Liza Minnelli on 16 March 2002, but separating less than 18 months later in July 2003. Found dead in his room at the Four Seasons Hotel in East London's Canary Wharf district. Gest produced one of the highest-rated musical television specials "Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration: The Solo Years" in 2001, which was the last reunion of Michael Jackson and The Jacksons in 17 years, and Jackson's last solo concerts. He appeared on the 2006 series of the British reality television show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!", and became the first American to have three prime-time series in the UK. He also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in the UK in 2016, but due to illness had to leave after 13 days.
