Total running time DVD1: 1:01:58 Total running time DVD2: 1:28:03 Comments: Excellent single-camera DVD from the second night of David Gilmour's two-night stand in Chicago in April 2006. This features a relatively stock setlist; more "rarities" ("Wot's The Deal," "Dominoes") showed up in the second night, and "Coming Back to Life" appeared for (I believe) only the second time on the tour. The performance was excellent (although I have to admit that the first set of all-new material got rather tough sometimes) and David appeared to be in an affable mood. Of the two I saw in Chicago, anyway, I thought this was the better show. The video was shot from the back left corner of the floor; however, as evidenced in the attached screenshots, the footage is crystal clear and features great close-ups of the band. The camerawork is very steady and fluid -- I assume the camera was mounted on a tripod. Sound is excellent -- either a great camcorder capture, or dubbed from an alternate source (if it's the latter, it was synched well, because I didn't see any point where the audio slipped off the video track). If you're a PF fan and don't have this, you should consider this one. It's worth the bandwidth -- I admit that I haven't seen any other videos from this tour, but this has to be one of the best available. I originally upped this torrent to DIME in July 2007, and to my knowledge it hasn't been back on the tracker since. I haven't downloaded many videos from this tour (I grabbed it because I was at this show), but this features excellent camerawork and great sound.
