David Granström (b. 1987) composes electronic music and is working in the field of generative algorithmic composition. He works almost exclusivly with synthesized source materials, generating both sound material and musical structure using the SuperCollider programming environment. He is interested in timeless states of listening and often utilises extended durations and cyclical forms in his music. He also works as a software developer, focusing on audio and graphics programming in different languages and environments. Lately he has been working on front-end web development and with web audio in particular.
