David began is career as principal cellist with the National Youth Orchestra Of Great Britain. He is a conductor and was the music director for the Grand Rapids Symphony in Michigan and is currently their Conductor Laureate. He is also the Music Director for the Modesto Symphony and the Pasadena Symphony, both in California. In addition, he is the Principal Guest Conductor for the Orquesta Sinfónica Del Principado de Asturias.
