A.k.a. David William Noble

American journalist and music critic, born in 1940. His interest in music ran the gamut from classical to jazz to rock. He worked for various publications including the Chicago American, Boston Globe and Albuquerque Journal. He sadly died in 2007. He was the son of Dick Noble, the longtime classical music announcer on WEFM-FM, 99.5 in Chicago.
