Text adapted from a tale by Reb Nachman of Bratslav. Track 3 text adapted from "The Blue Cliff Record", a twelfth-century collection of Zen koans. Track 4 ambient sounds of Helsinki recorded in December 2000. Cuckoo and fly recorded in Endla Raba, Estonia, July 2000. Track 5 sounds of night insects and the midnight train recorded in the Cold Spring woods, August 2000. Track 6 recorded live at the National Aviary, Pittsburgh, March 2001.
