David Wilson (September 22, 1945 - ) is an American-born violinist and recording artist, known for his stylized arrangements of popular music and original compositions.Wilson began his professional recording career in 1987, performing nightly in Beverly Hills, California. Here he performed for Hollywood celebrities and political figures. Tina Sinatra took note of Wilson's music and recommended him to perform at a private event attended by Henry Mancini. Upon hearing the David, Mancini invited him to be featured soloist on his film score for the 1990 Blake Edwards film "Switch". The following year, Mancini featured Wilson's improvisations on the RCA album "As Time Goes By."
