Album US 2009 on Fire Inside Productions label
Rock, Pop and Soundtrack (Vocal, Ballad, Post Rock, Brit Pop)
SHE was Jones's last full-length album before his passing in 2012. It was culled from sessions in Florida and Pennsylvania, starting in 2008 and ending in 2009. Because of time constraints and Jones's hectic schedule, the project passed through three producers, including Chris Andrews* (formerly of Fleur de Lys) and Johnny J Blair (whose credits were accidentally left off the CD). Jones settled on Skip Kline to finish the job. SHE was a labor of love for Jones, covering soft rock ballads and standards, and he dedicated the project to his beloved mother (who passed when Jones was a teen). Musicians were chosen from Kline's studio stable and from Jones's road band. He performed "Secret Love" often in his live show. * Andrews had a long history with Jones, starting in 1965, when Andrews succeeded Jones as The Artful Dodger in the stage musical OLIVER.
