David, known as Davy by most of his friends, was born in Chester, PA, and lived there until age 13. His musical interest started young when he began music lessons. He later found his true love in playing electric guitar, and was an accomplished guitarist by the time he was in high school. Many miles and many bands later he ended up in Austin Texas, where he flourished in his music and making friends. He lived in Austin for 35 years, was one of a kind person who never met a stranger, and was never happier than when he had a guitar in his hand playing loud music with his friends, most recently the Hickoids.
