DAWIT MENELIK TAFARI – The World Citizen Music Producer, Singer, Song Writer and Performer. Dawit Menelik Tafari the world citizen; spent his formative years in Jamaica where his love and talent for music grew. He later returned to London where his skill as a singer, songwriter and music producer progressed. In 1979 when Dawit was known as Top Cat, Melody Muzik Sound Productions was conceived and established with specific aims and objectives of creating original Roots Reggae Music. Dawit’s travels have exposed him to a multitude of cultures and vibrations which influence his musical style. Dawit continues to produce albums for various international artists; he is currently working on his own album Rastafari, which will be released in August 2013.
