Created in the winter of 2010 / 2011. Track 1: from a poem by Rudyard Kipling which highlights the plight of soldiers returning from war with physical or psychological injuries. Track 2: Poems 'Ulysses' and 'The Charge Of The Light Brigade" by Lord Alfred Tennyson. A contemplation of age and eventual death and a longing for further experience and knowlwdge. Track 3: inspired by the work of Gabriel Dante Rossetti and the pre-raphaelites. Track 4: inspired by the picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde Track 5: the great industrial revolution and the misery of disrooted urban population The release is a printed CDr in an elegant A5 edition with glossy picture glued on the cover. Limited edition of 150 handnumbered copies. ‘Fin de siècle’ is a series of three mini-albums released on Aube & Crépuscule, each of them through the spectrum of a different European capital at a time when the European civilization was at its high. Part I is Paris and part III will be Wien (Vienna).
