After self releasing their first EP, touring Spain on their own as well as supporting international bands, receiving great reviews from Spain’s biggest music magazines and being asked to perform on MTV (all while still unsigned) Day Of Rising moved to London, UK. While in the UK, they relased a new EP (Unmasking St.Minver, Punktastic Recordings), recorded new material, toured all around the country and got great reviews from the UK music media. Back in Spain, they played festivals with bands such as Linkin Park, supported Fall Out Boy on their first ever show in Spain and toured with New Found Glory on their first Spanish tour. In September 2009, Day Of Rising recorded their debut album Deceivers United with acclaimed producer Romesh Dodangoda, whose producing credits include Funeral For A Friend and Kids In Glass Houses. The album was released on May 10th, 2010 through the band’s own label, Young & Loyal. The album received great reviews from Spanish and UK media and it helped the band reach new levels of success. In July 2011 they played their biggest show to date, supporting US superstars Paramore in front of 5,000 on their first-ever show in Spain, as well as playing summer festivals along bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Pennywise. Day Of Rising decided to take a break in August 2012 and are currently on hiatus.
