Dead City Klowns was a Finnish hard rock band in the 1990s, which released two albums. First it was called D.C. Klowns. The first single of the band was released by the local record company My Way Records. Later Dead City Klowns got a record deal for EMI Finland, with the Parlophone label for a single and an album. The band's second album appeared with a small German label. In the spring of 2014, Dead City Klowns announced that they will return to the stage after 20 years to perform at the Poris Portische Festival, editing an EP with new songs "Sweet Insanity".
