Electronic and Rock
A.k.a. Jonathan Canady, Kevin Kopp
Industrial / Extreme Metal hybrid Dead World was formed in 1991 in the US by former Relapse Records art director Jonathan Canady, guitarist Kevin Kopp and drummer Greg Knoll. The band's first demos were released in 1992 as the album Collusion. Greg Knoll left the band before the recording of their second album The Machine and within a year Kevin Kopp also departed, leaving Dead World a one-man band for a third and final album; 1996's Thanatos Descends. Since then, Canady has begun work on other projects, most notably Deathpile and Angel Of Decay.
