Composer of Pop and Jazz
American composer and bandleader, Elliot's first composing work was for a comedy program which debuted in 1950. He then went on to score for various cartoon series, most prominently Tom and Jerry. He also made records with the assistance of Phil Kaye, a sound effects virtuoso, today considered "space age pop" or lounge classics.
