Scottish singer and songwriter. Born 5 September 1946 in Airdrie, Scotland, UK. Died 31 December 2018 in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Lead singer for the UK band The Marmalade from 1966 to 1974, who were known as Dean Ford And The Gaylords from 1963 to 1966. After departing The Marmalade in 1974 his self-titled solo album in 1975 was produced by Alan Parsons, whose 1978 Pyramid had Ford as a vocalist.
