Boasting members of several past Bay Area bands, most notably Brett Mathews (Why I Hate, In The Red, Breathe In, and AMP Magazine founder and publisher), Jamie Cairns and Aaron Bruski (Shadow Lakes) and new addition on guitar, Douglas Young (Love and Zombies), Dearly Divided have entered directly into the deep end of the punk rock pool and are already making splashes. After testing their first batch of songs at shows with bands like Strung Out, Authority Zero, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Angry Samoans among others and a short run of West Coast dates with DC Fallout, Dearly Divided piled into NuTone Studios with Ben & Scott (Green Day, Against Me!, Stickup Kid) to track this, their debut album. After mixing and mastering from Sir Michael Rosen (Rancid, AFI, Less Than Jake), the bands first offering has been received very well. With a common goal of writing top-notch songs that not only make you want to clinch your fist and run in circles, but actually sing along as well, Dearly Divided are poised to become a mainstay in the Punk Rock scene.
