Tracks 1-5 previously released on LP: Songs Of Krishna. Track 1 recorded in 1968 in Jodhpur, India. Tracks 2, 3 and 5 recorded in 1968 in Jaipur, India. Track 4 recorded in 1954 in Assansol, India. Track 6 recorded 13 March 1968 in Vrindavan, India. Track 7 recorded in India, date unknown. Track 8 recorded in 1968 in India. The CD booklet has Jodhpur as recording location for tracks 2 and 3, which is incorrect (cf. musicians on track 5 and notes to original LP release). The film 'Krishna in Spring' was made during the Holi festival in 1969 in India.
