Hailing from Berlin, Germany, "Declamatory" have been a Melodic Thrash Metal band since their inception in 2000, when Toni Watzinger (guitar) joined forces with vocalist Robert Scholich, bass player Marcus Kuscherka and drummer Fabian Weber. In spite of their lack of formal preparation with their respective instruments, the band members set out to find a very special chemistry, fuelled by the will to create some genuine kick-ass metal! Their debut demo, "Nevolution" was released in 2004 to critical acclaim. The band went on to win a host of local contests, building an increasingly solid reputation for themselves. After going through a few changes and establish a more stable and stronger line-up,the band released their debut album "Human Remains" in 2012. The record was a truly ambitious release, with a new concept focusing on the post-apocalyptic war between the "raiders" and the "crystal gods" in post-industrial collapse world. This album is the first in a series of concept albums to come, and it isn't only a showcase of maturity and musicianship, but also of storytelling and vision. The storyline will go on with the release of the band's new Album "Total Control" which was published in March 2015.
