Dee-Kay

Band, *1981 DK
Pop

Danish pop group from Hirtshals, formed in 1981 by members from discontinued local groups ("4-Ever" and "Golden Sound") continuing as "Golden Sound". A year later Trine Andersen joined and they changed their name to Dee-Kay. Got their breaktrough with the single "Ta' Li' Og Vent Lidt" in the Jørgen De Mylius TV program Eldorado, in the middle of the 80s. In the last years the group stopped touring, because of civil jobs and geographic distances, but occasionally they play at local events.
