A.k.a. Bobby van Putten Funkuz
Bobby was born 19-02-1987 in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, and is still living there nowadays. He had a passion for music since his 3rd life year when his father taught him to listen to it (music from bands like 'Queen' and 'The Kinks'). When he was 14 years old, he bought his first record (that was in november 2001), and slowly started collecting vinyl with every spare penny he had. In june 2002 he started producing on a crappy slow computer, and 4 months later he started ''The Nilldrive Project'' together with Resonance (who now records as: ''Fanatic Drive'' and ''Rezonanze''), which Unknown Project, ToniX and Ronster would later join. The Nilldrive Project became popular because of their website "nilldrive.tk", on which every song of all the producers of the group was avaliable for download. There has been a period in which the site had over 1000 hits a day, which was incredible for the group. They split up after ToniX was asked by Bobby V (Hardstyle resident of The Bridge) to produce with him and his co-producer Rico. After that, Bobby met Michael (DJ Michael) and together they produced some tracks (like Depth and Thunder) and sent it to ID&T. They instantly called us to come over and offered us a 3-year publishing contract (that was in April 2003). They have had a few releases together, with Michael on the sleeve and Bobby as co-producer. In may 2004 they also decided to split up becase they both had another idea of making music. Michael was more interested in making money than having fun with it, and Bobby had exactly the opposite idea. Bobby took some time off to get to learn more advanced software, and continue on his own. Nowadays he has a small studio in his bedroom, and very busy working for new hardware, watch out :-)!
