Die Deep River Blues Band spielt akustischen Blues mit Gitarre, Banjo, Bass, Waschbrett, Mundharmonika und Gesang. Mit dieser für eine Blues-Band ungewöhnlichen Instrumentieruing im alten Stil, dem Verzicht auf ein Schlagzeug und einem originellem Repertoire mit zahlreichen Bluesraritäten, schafft die Band ihren eigenen unverwechselbaren Sound.
