DEER is the embodiment of Laurent Marion, a folk-alternative artist who created his first musical project in 2012 in collaboration with Alexandre Finkin, producer arranger. Laurent is surrounded by many musicians from a variety of backgrounds, to create a strong musical diversity in the service of his folk influences, progressive and alternative. DEER is an ambitious project, the result of an important musical research. The will of Laurent is to provide a plural and innovative project in its arrangements. The universe of DEER trying to tap into folk by injecting very different musical genres, inspired by Nick Drake, Eddie Vedder, Pura Fé, Sigur Ros or Anthony and the Johnsons ... The sad lament of a cello, trance Navajo ritual songs, or the melody of a Native American flute will blend in turn in a musical spirit in pictorial text service.
