Deidra Muriel Roper (born August 3, 1971), professionally known as '''DJ Spinderella''' or simply '''Spinderella''', is an American DJ, rapper, producer and actress. Roper is best known as a member of the Hip-Hop/Rap trio Salt N' Pepa. A Brooklyn native, Roper joined the group in mid–1987 at age 15 after the group's original DJ Latoya Hanson was removed. Roper's first album appearance with the group was 1988's "Salt with A Deadly Pepa".
