Deliverance got started as a band in the summer of 2011 in Oulu Finland. First demo is recorded by Rajaniemi (instruments) and Turunen (vocals). Second recording is made in early 2012 and features the full line up: T. Hiivala (gtr.), E. Kangas (bass), A. Rajaniemi (gtr.), J. Turunen (vocs), P. Väliheikki (dr.). In December 2014 the band changed name to Deep River Acolytes.
