The trio Delizie Italiane (Italian Delicacy) was formed in September 2000, fuelled by its members’ great interest in wine, cooking and southern culture. It took a little while for the trio to find their own sound, since they had no real template to refer to, but now they feel that they have mastered the true Delizie sound – where simplicity reigns supreme. When Delizie Italiane performs, they focus on creating a comfortable and easy going Italian mood, and it almost goes without saying that this particular kind of music flows especially well with food and drink.
