A.k.a. Dat Nigga Daz Daz Dillinger Dilly Tha Dogg
The Long Beach, California-native went from performing at local house parties to recording at state-of-the-art studios when he was invited along to assist with the newly formed Death Row Records (2)'s release, The Chronic for producer Dr. Dre. Delmar "Daz" Arnaud soon proved his competence with his raps, lyric writting, and even alleged co-production on the Chronic and soon landed many guest apperances on the label's stable of releases throughout the 1990's. He was rewarded the ultimate gift in 1995 with the release of his first major album alongside friend Kurupt under the moniker Tha Dogg Pound. Their release Dogg Food topped the charts and sold over two million copies. Daz began focusing on production later into the 1990's after releasing his debut solo album Retaliation, Revenge And Get Back in 1998. After a couple more solo attempts and a brief fall-out with former band-mate Kurupt, Daz continues to guest appear on many west coast hip-hop albums. More recently, he landed a major deal with Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records and released his solo project 'So So Gangsta' in 2006.
