Denis Ingoldsby, along with Oliver Smallman, were the founders/owners of First Avenue Management and 1st Avenue Records. Denis (along with Ollie) signed acts such Quartz (2) (via Vertigo), Eternal (2) and Louise (via EMI), Bad Boys Inc. (via A&M Records), Michelle Gayle (via RCA), Alysha Warren (via Wildcard), MN8 (via Columbia Records), Dina Carroll (first via A&M Records, then Mercury), Kele Le Roc (via Wildcard), and many others. In addition to First Avenue, Denis and Ollie also created an imprint with Arista Records UK, called Final Vinyl (2). Some of the acts Denis and Ollie signed to Final Vinyl were The Nightcrawlers (feat. John Reid) and Those 2 Girls.
