Denis Punch

Punch is a long time techno, vinyl only, dj/collector. He started collecting and spinning records in 1996 and same year became constant resident dj at one of the first techno club in Estonia - Gagarin. At the same time he has been playing at many parties and festivals around Estonia and also in Russia. From 2005 till 2017 he was a host of monthly Electric Cafe radio show at Raadio 2 (popular radio station specializing in pop/underground music). From 2017 he is hosting Mürk radio show together with Hugo Mesi. As a promoter, in 2008, Punch started his own Electric Cafe events and assisted with bringing top techno artists to Estonia for other gigs and festivals. Artists performed so far: AUX 88 (Direct Beat), Damon Wild (Synewave), Joel Mull (Parabel), Cari Lekebusch (H.Productions), Jeroen Search (Figure), Samuli Kemppi (Deep Space Helsinki), Insolate (Out Of Place), Dj Hyperactive (Droid Behavior), Truncate (Truncate), Stanislav Tolkachev (Semantica). Music production: Punch & Y.Danneg as Step One and Synebot duo. Releases: Step One - Step One Remixes (Steve Stoll, Pacou, Jeroen Search) - Proper NYC, Synebot - Pomelo - Mürk Ltd 001, Synebot – X-Press (remixes by Steve Stoll, Damon Wild, Stanislav Tolkachev) – Black. Records. More music will follow soon. Punch is also in a very close relations with biggest Estonian promo techno team Mürk. He also runs Respect The Locals podcast series to promote only local dj’s who play techno/minimal/deep/dub/acid/electro sounds.
