A.k.a. Dennis Fearon
(Dennis Fearon also spelled Dennis Ferron) "Jamaican Piano Technician, Arranger and Composer of Music, not only repair Pianos, but also tunes them." Jah D is one of the unsung heroes of Reggae Music - uncredited studio session player and arranger on countless classic sides, including many from Studio One, much of Joe Gibbs' classic Roots material, Junior Dan's tunes, member of Food Clothes & Shelter, as well as piano tuner extraordinaire at just about every legendary Studio in Jamaica. Back in the day he used to fix and tune instruments for many of Kingston’s top recording studios like Channel One, Tuff Gong, Dynamic Sounds and Harry J’s. Jah D continues to arrange and produce music regularly at his Grant's Pen studio, along with his son Diavallan Fearon, on their own Builders Music label.
